Reception

What a week! It's been a whirlwind! Lot's has been
happening in making funeral service, burial and reception
plans. The last blog posting gives you the Calling hours
and Funeral information.

Bob Salliby will be buried at Forest Hill Cemetery at
115 Mt. Elam Rd. in Fitchburg, MA.The reception will
be held at the Twin City Baptist School , in the Larsen
(Larson) Family Center, to the left and rear of the school.
Twin City is located at 194 Electric Ave. in Lunenburg, MA.

We expect between 400-500 people so we've asked our
church members and local friends to bring food for the
buffet lunch. We are having a couple of hot dishes provided
by a local caterer . We need donations of finger sandwiches,
assorted salads and assorted desserts (cookies, bar cookies).
We will provide coffee and punch! The food can be
delivered directly to Twin City starting at about11:00am
before the funeral or at the Leominster Assembly of God
Church Office entrance. We have volunteers ready to fill up
their cars and transport the food to the reception for you.

If you are local and would like to contribute food for the
buffet, please call me at 978-582-9375 or send an
e-mail to sallydyer1@verizon.net.

So many of you have offered help to Melinda in your notes,
e-mails, blog comments and telephone calls. This is a wonderful
way to help as we honor Bob for his many years of service
to the Lord and the church!

Thank you so much!

How can I ever thank the Saliby Family enough?
Bob always had an encouraging word. Melinda a radiant smile and Christine a heart of gold that matches her smile. I know it is hard on both of you. Peace will come from the one that truly love us, Jesus Christ.
Bob always had a contagious spirit who can forget one of his of his famous quotes ‘ I am flip out over Jesus.’ He walked with a fire that kept burning for Jesus. He had a smile that brightens the world.
Melinda there is no way any of us can take away the pain you feel away. I am glad you know the one that made heaven and earth, Jesus. He will comfort you and dry all your tears. He will remind of all the good times, you'll even laugh at the times you thought were bad. You know in your heart Bob is only gone for a little while then, we will all join him.
Christine, you know I truly love you like a daughter. I wish I could take away your pain. Somewhere over the rainbow we will see your dad again. He must be dancing on streets of gold and checking out his mansion. Heaven is celebrating, for here is a son of God that has kept the faith and finish the race.
Melinda and Christine I love you both and I am here if you ever need to talk. May the God of peace be with you.
